Bless Me Ultima: Chapter 17

I feel as if the priest was way to harsh when he punished Florence for being late but not Antonio. Florence is a great kid who is really lost because of all the screwed up things that have happened to him in his life and I feel that he is looking for at least an once of hope to cling on too. The priest in my opinion dislikes Florence because he isn't a believer and is just trying to get him to quit catechism. This is sad because the church is supposed to accept everyone and not judge any person differently. If they end up having a non-believer then they want to turn him catholic so they would try to make the experience as great as possible.
