Bless Me Ultima: Chapter 1

As I read chapter one in "Bless Me Ultima" all I could think about was that I felt bad for Antonio's father because he could do what he loved because he had to follow his wife's wishes. The fact that Antonio's mother and father are so different and can't respect that about each other is a sad sight and makes me wonder how they were able to fall in love. They should accept each others differences because they are one now, yet they don't and bash each others families.
